The name Eric Hartter is almost unanimously unknown except that he is referenced with a very popular name – Eminem. We all know that Eminem has three daughters: Alaina, Hailie and Whitney. He often sings in their songs. Many are unaware, however, that all three are not her biological children.

Eric Hartter has never spent time with his daughter, Whitney. In fact, he’s so distant from her that he couldn’t even make it to the hospital the day she was born. Sometime after Whitney was born, she started seeing Eminimen again and eventually got back together with him. Since Eric Hartter was unable to meet his responsibilities, Eminem took full legal responsibility for Whitney. Eric was never allowed to see his daughter.

Rice is the officer accused of bringing Eric Hartter to accounting.

Marie Hartter, the mother of Eric Hartter, lamented that she did not have the chance to see her granddaughter grow up and that Kim withdrew her from the little girl’s life as soon as she returned to Eminem. She even decided to sue Eminem for this in 2005.
The relationship between Eric Hartter, the representative of Eminemet Kimberly Mathers has never been smooth. It was characterized by lawsuits, arrests and all other possible legal actions. In all this time, Whitney Scott Mathers has never met her biological father. Whether she will decide to seek him out herself when she turns 18 is a wiser debate for the future. But it’s clear right now that Eminem is the only father she’s ever known and she’s fine with that.
Although Eric stays away, Eminem can shower all the love and compassion he wants on his daughters. He also has a better relationship with Kimberly these days, though the two remain estranged.
