Ebiede began playing football in 1994 with the now-defunct Sharks of Port Harcourt. At 16, he joined the First Division team in Belgium, SC Eendracht Aalst.

He scored four goals in 34 games for the team. Later, in 1997, he changed teams and joined SC Heerenveen in the Dutch Eredivisie. He played in 36 games there and scored twice.

Along with playing for different teams in the Middle East, such as Al Jazira, Al Ain, and Al Dafra, the former Sharks striker also represented those organizations.

Despite having a very short career, Ebiede left a lasting impression on the world of football. His passing causes a great loss to his family, friends, and the football community as a whole.s
