Eliza Hutton is married, who is her husband? Where is she now?

Eliza Hutton was one of the leading women in Hollywood who worked hard behind the scenes to bring the screenwriters’ vision to life through her skills as a casting director. She was practically a force to be reckoned with in the 1990s as she helped give aspiring new actors and actresses the well-deserved opportunity to star in films based on merit and pure talent. More so, she gained popularity after her highly publicized marriage to Brand Lee, the son of famous Chinese martial artist Bruce Lee. Here is one more interesting fact that you should know.

Eliza Hutton Biography,

Eliza Hutton was born in Kansas City, Missouri, United States of America on February 9, 1964. She is of white ethnicity. As a child, she grew up in Kansas City, which is also her hometown. Although information about her education is limited, one thing that is known is that she received most of her schooling in her hometown.

Her adventure in the Hollywood film world was reignited in 1988, when she found work as Mr. Harlin’s executive assistant. She went on to work in the production of a number of highly successful films including; Die Hard 2: Die Harder in 1990 and Suspense in 1993. She also worked at Stillwater Productions (owned by British-Canadian producer and actor, Kiefer Sutherland) as a screenwriter.

Eliza Hutton then worked on the set of the film, The Raven. But after one of the best-selling cast members tragically passed away on the set of the film, she decided to return to the East Coast. Eliza Hutton then moved to Los Angeles in the late 90s where she worked briefly as a casting director in a few films and took on personal projects. However, since arriving in Los Angeles, she hasn’t worked as much as the producers expected as well and that was mostly for reasons she knows best.

Is she married, who is her husband?

For a long time as a casting director, Eliza Hutton was mostly preoccupied with her job with little to no time for dating, but things changed after she met Brandon Lee. They both met in 1990 while both working with director Harlin. Interestingly, Brandon Lee was an actor whose father was the legendary Chinese kung fu fighter, martial artist and actor, Bruce Lee. In the late 90s, Eliza started dating Brandon, but two years later in 1992, Brandon Lee proposed to her while they were traveling to Europe for a short vacation.

Things were going so well and Eliza Hutton couldn’t have been happier, but it wasn’t to last as tragedy soon struck. Just a year after his proposal, on March 31, 1993, in Wilmington, Brandon Lee was hit by a dummy bullet while on the set of the Gothic-themed comic book, The Raven. The bullet that hit his abdomen and spine ultimately resulted in his tragic death just twelve hours after he was shot. Brandon Lee was only 28 at the time of his unfortunate death.

After his death, Eliza devoted most of her next few years as an active casting director to ensuring stricter gun regulations were enforced on film sets to prevent unfortunate incidents like what happened to her fiancé. At the time the film was completed and released, it was dedicated to Brandon and Eliza. After a long period of being single, Eliza met another guy who she married in 2004. She managed to keep her identity in the spotlight.
