The CBS New York meteorologist Elise Finch tragically went away, leaving her coworkers devastated by the loss. She sadly passed away over the weekend at the age of 51, not long after going on the air.
Finch had an incredible 16 years of experience forecasting the weather for New York; her final appearance was two days before WCBS announced her passing.
In their announcement, they wrote, “It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of our beloved Elise Dione Finch Henriques.” They commended Finch for being a very talented and dedicated worker who paid close attention to her work.
They also highlighted her excellent community service, notably in Mount Vernon, where she was born and reared.
Elise was most well-known for her unwavering devotion to her husband, WCBS photojournalist Graig Henriques, and daughter Grace.
In a statement expressing their profound grief, CBS praised Elise as an exceptionally gifted and dedicated professional who approached her work with the utmost love. They also acknowledged her significant contributions to the community, particularly in Mount Vernon, where she was born.
It was emphasized that Elise was a dedicated wife and mother to Grace and that Graig Henriques worked as a photojournalist for WCBS.
