Voice actress Elena Shulman passed away in St. Petersburg, according to Oleg Berezin, general manager of Neva-film studio. Berezin said that she was hit by a trolley bus.
According to the Telegram Mash channel, Shulman was on the phone when she abruptly stepped out onto the street on April 7 at 5:45 p.m. As the trolley bus approached house number 13 on Riding Street/Five Corners, it struck the woman.
She was sent to the hospital right afterward because of her serious wounds, which included a broken left hip, injuries to the chest and abdomen, and an open pelvic fracture. Despite receiving medical care, Shulman passed away early on Sunday morning (about 6:45).
The St. Petersburg Transport Committee stated that the accident was what ultimately killed Shulman. The committee asserted that the woman had swerved past bus stop patrons and onto the road right in front of the approaching trolley bus. Even though the driver had used the brakes, the woman was still struck.
In addition to Mary Jane from Spider-Man, characters from the Russian animated series The Witcher and The Black Mirror, as well as those from Three Bogatyrs, Smeshariki, and Luntik, Elena Shulman was a highly sought-after voice actress.
For more than 650 films, she provided voiceovers. She would have turned 54 years old on April 10.
