Elene Huelva was a Spanish author and content creator who died after losing a battle with Ewing Sarcoma , a rare type of cancer that affects bones or the tissue around bone.
Huelva was first diagnosed with the rare cancer in 2016.
Huelva’s family confirmed her death to Spanish publication El Mundo, in a statement published on Wednesday, Jan. 4, which reads:
Tributes have been pouring in to the social media star following her demise.
Her death comes just weeks after she shared her final farewell to fans after documenting her battle with Ewing Sarcoma.
In a video posted to her Instagram in December last year, Huelva explained in Spanish:
