Mexico and the United States share much more in common than existing on the same geographic continent. The two North American countries shared between a lot of things, business, college kids, drugs, and actors/actresses. Ever since Hollywood became the number one movie industry in the world, actors and actresses have crossed the border to carve out a slice of Hollywood. Salma Hayek is one of the big names who rose to prominence in Hollywood. One actress who is still on this journey is Eiza Gonzalez.
The young Mexican actress recently starred in the Fast and Furious franchise spin-off Hobbs and Shaw, and if the story has anything to do with it, it could very well be the start of big things for the actress in Hollywood. Read on to know more about her.
Eiza Gonzalez – Biography
Eiza started her career very young. Perhaps influenced by her mother’s role model life, she took an early interest in theater and sought a life of prestige and privilege. She was born on January 30, 1990 in Caborca, Sonora, Mexico. His parents are Carlos Reyna and Glenda Reyna. Her full name at birth is Eiza Gonzalez Reyna and she has an older brother called Yulen. Eiza suffered the tragic tragedy of losing her father when she was 12 years old. It’s a loss she’s been clinging to ever since and pursuing her goals has been huge.
Ready for a career that transcends bordersAt the borders of Mexico, she attended two bilingual schools, Edron Academy and American School Foundation. After this stage of her studies, she enrolled in the Televisa theater school of the Centro de Education Artistica to follow a three-year course. However, she only spent two years there.
She had started taking acting lessons and studying at the age of 13, which led to her first acting role at the age of 16, when she was chosen to direct a telenovela. Lola….Ease Una Vez. The show was successful and ran for two years in the United States and Latin America. After the show ended in 2008, Gonzalez made her first visit to the United States to take a three-month acting course at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute. At the end of the course, Eiza Gonzalez returned to Mexico and used her newly acquired knowledge to get roles in various shows and films.
After a few years of appearing in various Mexican movies and shows, Gonzalez decided to follow the path many talented actresses had taken before this one; she moved to Los Angeles. Her move to Los Angeles appeared to be an immediate success, as she was chosen Hello All Queen of Square Flowers. Unfortunately, the movie didn’t happen immediately, and during the recast, she lost the role.
The disappointment didn’t last as she landed a role in From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series. In further confirmation of a successor narrative to Selma Hayek as the Mexican queen in Hollywood, she voices Santanico Pandemonium in the show – a character portrayed by Selma Hayek in the original film. She also starred in Edgar Wright ‘s Baby Driver in 2017 as the character, Darling.
Outside of acting, Eiza Gonzalez is a role model. She has endorsements from several fashion brands. She is also a singer. she released a solo album after the success of her performance in her debut show, Lola…Erase Una Vez. She has two solo albums to her name – Counter-current (Contracorriente) and Te Acordaras de Mi. Eiza is an accomplished speaker in Italian, Spanish and English.
Relationships and Boyfriend
As far as everything indicates, Eiza is currently in zero romantic relationships at the moment. The actress has chosen to focus on her career and find her place in the great ocean that is Hollywood.
She was, however, in a relationship with From Dusk till Dawn: The Series cast member DJ Cotrona and the duo dated for two years, from 2014 to 2016. Towards the end of the same year, she reportedly had a new co-star from Dusk till. Dawn, Calvin Harris.
More recently, in 2018, the beautiful EizaGonzalez reportedly had the time of her life with actor Josh Duhamel, but things came to a halt before fans could even get used to the idea. If Hollywood standards are anything to go by, it won’t be long before a hunky guy attracts her again.
Family
Eiza comes from a family of four. She has a brother who is 12 years older than her. Since she lost her father, her mother has been very supportive of her career. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her family.
