Requirements
- Egypt tourist visa is issued for individuals from other countries travelling to explore and tour Egypt.
- It usually grants an uninterrupted stay for a period of 90 days.
- Holders of this visa are allowed to go on vacations to Egypt, visit friends and relatives residing in Egypt but are not allowed to work or study.
- Before travelling, applicants are to have proof of sufficient funds for their trip.
- Vaccination for yellow fever is mandatory for all travellers to Egypt from Cambodia.
- Visitors are expected to have a place to stay in Egypt.
- If you would be staying with your friend or relative, they are to issue a letter inviting you.

- Egyptian business visa is for individuals who want to conduct trade activities in Egypt.
- This visa is valid for 90 days and allows uninterrupted business activities for the period.
- Your passport must be valid for the next six months and should not be torn or altered in any way.
- A letter of invitation from the business partner in Egypt is required. The letter should state the nature of the business to be conducted and the duration of the business.
- The letter should be printed on the company’s letterheaded paper.
- Your employer in Cambodia is to issue a letter stating that the trip is approved and that the applicant would return to Cambodia after the trip.
- Accommodation is required for all applicants.
- This visa also allows people to attend conferences and meetings in the country.
- If you are travelling to attend a meeting, pre-registration is required.
- Applicants must have sufficient funds for their trip and proof of such must be provided.
- If you overstay your visa for more than 30 days, you would be fined around EGP 1500.
- Settling the fine might cause delays which could make you lose your flight.
