Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements

In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Education and History under the Faculty of Education in the above Universities include;

History and any other two (2) subjects chosen from Christian Religious Studies / Islamic Studies, Literature in English, French, Yoruba, Geography/Physics, Economics, Government and Hausa.

O’Level Requirements

The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Education and History;

You require;

Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, History and three (3) relevant Arts subjects.

Direct Entry Requirements

These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Education and History, if you don’t intend to use UTME.

You require;

Two (2) NCE merit/’A’ Level passes in History and one (1) other relevant Arts subject.
