Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements

In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Education and Economics under the Faculty of Education in the above Universities include;

Economics, Mathematics and one (1) other subject from Geography/Physics, History, Government and Literature in English.

O’Level Requirements

The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Education and Economics;

You require;

Five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes to include English Language, Economics and Mathematics.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS 

  1. ALVAN accepts ‘O’ Level pass in English Language.

Direct Entry Requirements

These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Education and Economics, if you don’t intend to use UTME.

You require;

(i) Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Economics and one (1) other relevant subject.

(ii)  NCE merit/credit in Economics and one (1) other subject.
