Eddie Jones was appointed head coach of England Rugby in November 2015. After masterminding the 2016 Grand Slam and a second consecutive Guinness Six Nations title in the first two seasons of his six-year deal, he led England to the 2019 RWC final.
During his tenure, he has a 17-game winning streak — a historic feat for a new England coach – as well as an unbeaten year in 2016.
The 3-0 clean sweep of Australia in 2016, the resounding Six Nations triumphs over Ireland, France, and Italy in 2019, and the record 57-15 win over Ireland in August 2019 were all highlights.
He coached the Wallabies from 2001 to 2005, then the Saracens, and finally Japan for three years, culminating in the biggest shock in RWC history when they defeated South Africa 34-32 in 2015.
How Much Does The England Head Coach Earn?
Jones earns roughly £750,000 per year as the highest-paid coach in international rugby. His current deal runs out in July 2021.
