Dwayne Johnson’s Tattoos and His House

People have body art for different reasons, but it all comes down to one which is self-expression. Dwayne Johnson’s tattoos are special in that they contain his family history. Yes folks, if you are well versed in Samoan you could probably decipher what is there. For those of us who left Samoan 101 in school, we’re here to cover the basics of tattoos. Not moving.

Dwayne Johnson’s Tattoos

The year was 2003 and the actor traveled to Hawaii to take part in a traditional Samoan tradition. The inking was done by a highly prized Tahitian tattoo artist by the name of Po’oino Yrondi. It took a total of 60 hours (20 hours at a time) to complete the intricate designs. That year, The Rock wasn’t the only one with tattoos for 20 hours. His cousin, Tanoa’i, also received ink.

In fact, it was a whole family affair, family members came, music was played, and stories about their rich heritage were shared. Back to the subject of Johnson’s tattoos. The original piece was a half-sleeve tattoo, but later that year the actor extended it to the left side of his chest. Each line and each curve has a great meaning and we will try to break it down.

The essence of Dwayne Johnson tattoos bubbles up to three things; family, to protect his family and to have “a very aggressive warrior spirit”. Here is an overview of the main characteristics of this distinction. The coconut leaves represent a Samoan warrior chief, then there is a sun which brings good luck.

The A/ga fa’atasi (three people on one) starts on his shoulder and continues on his chest; it depicts Dwayne, his wife (currently his ex-wife) and daughter.

The tattoo also features descending swirls which represent the past, present and future, two eyes also symbolize one’s ancestors watching one’s path and the big eye, used to distract the enemy in battle. There are still plenty of “tattoos” to review, so hang in there. Also in Johnson’s tattoos is a broken face marked with shark teeth, which represents The Rock’s spirit protector and a symbol of his struggle.

There is also a priest and a spirit guide, which symbolizes enlightenment, stones of fulfillment and abundance, denoting the foundation of one’s life, and a turtle shell, to ward off evil spirits. No wonder this thing took 60 hours and was just the arm part, the actor went back for more work.

The chest piece consists of a warrior face to the right over his heart, it represents Dwayne’s warrior spirit and his ability to overcome and overcome any challenge. Along with this intricate design, the actor received an inked bull on his upper right arm. This is a reference to his nickname “The Brahma Bull”.

When asked if he would go back for more additions, he said, “I have a lot of bodies, we could cover a lot of bodies.” It’s true.

Dwayne Johnson’s house

Last year, the wrestler-turned-actor spent $3.5 million on a Florida mansion. While elegant, the house itself is quite modest for a celebrity of her caliber. Don’t twist it, it’s not mud but we’ve got the pictures to prove it.

The gated estate includes an array of glamorous light fixtures; it has 6 bedrooms and with rooms that look like this we are tempted to move in.

The house also has 7 bathrooms, there are also showers for those who prefer that. The bathroom even has a chandelier! We told you it was not a mud hut.

Plus, there’s a home theater with its own box office, we bet that’s handy. Looking at you on a big screen, at home, nothing beats that.

The house also has a gym, we all know the actor loves working out so this info isn’t a spoiler alert. Of course, he has a pool in his 100,000 square foot home because every pretty mansion deserves a pool. There is no doubt that the star lives in fashion, we can’t say we didn’t expect it.
