Dustin Byfuglien and Emily got married on July 27, 2014. They had been together for twelve years before tying the wedding knot.
The two chose Loews, Minneapolis, as their wedding venue since it is Dustin’s hometown. Emily is originally from Manson Creek, British Columbia.
The couple had welcomed a daughter before the big day, who also attended the ceremony.

Dustin Byfuglien currently resides in Minnesota, Minneapolis. He previously lived in Winnipeg, Canada, during his time with the Jets.
He had taken a leave in September 2019 after the Stanley Cup playoffs. However, he did not return to the training camp, and the Jets suspended him immediately.
Moreover, the defenseman suffered a high ankle sprain the following month. He was unable to play for the remaining 2020 season.
Thus, the two parties eventually decided to terminate their contract on April 17, 2020.
