Aubrey Drake Graham was born on October 24, 1986, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to parents, Dennis Graham and Sandra “Sandi” (Sher) Graham. His father is an African-American musician and drummer while his mother, Sandra is a Canadian Jewish educator and florist.
Drake is of dual citizenship in the United States and Canada. His parents got divorced when he was five years old leading him to stay with his mother in Toronto. However, his father returned to Memphis.
As of his educational background, Drake attended a Jewish day school and became a bar mitzvah. He also attended Forest Hill Collegiate Institute and later attended Vaughan Road Academy. However, Drake dropped out of school but later graduated in October 2012.
Drake is presently living in Toronto, Ontario, in a 35,000-square-foot estate which he has nicknamed “The Embassy”.
