Tulsa Police Chief Wendell Franklin stated at a press conference Thursday that Dr. Preston Phillips was an orthopedic physician who performed back surgery on Louis last month before he was shot and murdered by him.
Michael Louis, also known as Michelet Louis, was the suspect, according to authorities. According to Police chief, Franklin, Louis was released from the hospital on May 24 but continued to complain about his agony.
