Dr. Doyin Okupe was the Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs to former President Goodluck Jonathan (2010 – 2015) of Nigeria. Before his recent appointment by President Jonathan in 2012, Okupe was spokesman for former President Olusegun Obasanjo and a former governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun State in 2003.
