Dove Cameron Biography

Dove Cameron is an American actress and singer, known for playing a dual role as the eponymous characters in the Disney Channel teen sitcom Liv and Maddie from 2013 to 2017.

She is also known for playing Mal, in the films Descendants in 2015, the sequel Descendants 2 in 2017, and the third installment Descendants 3 in 2019. She also had a recurring role as Ruby in the ABC television series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2018).

Cameron was first cast in a Disney Channel series titled Bits and Pieces as Alanna in 2012. The series was later retooled into Liv and Maddie and she starred in the dual lead role of Liv and Maddie Rooney.
