Leinster scrum-half player Nick McCarthy made several headliners after his confession regarding his sexuality via Instagram post.
Nick Mccarthy is a renowned rugby union player from Ireland, currently playing for United Rugby Championship and European Rugby Champions Cup representing Leinster.
His club has openly supported his confession by sharing his confession post on their Twitter account @leinsterrugby captioned, “his sharing will be encouraging and provide hope to others”.
Several rugby unions and rugby players have supported his confession via numerous retweets mentioning him as the role model for the upcoming generation.

According to skysports, The Irish rugby champ shared the news publicly on Monday and hadal ready to come out to coaches Leo Cullen and Stuart Lancaster in November and his teammates in January.
In an interview, Nick revealed he was agonised over his future and contemplated walking away from rugby altogether because he just didn’t think he could come out while playing rugby.
