Daryl Maguire is a former member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly for Wahha Wagga. He had been a local member of the party for twenty years before resigning in 2018.
Maguire, born on 25 March 1959, worked as a local store proprietor in the early days. He stepped into politics in 1999 and mostly worked as a backbencher ad prolific attendee at community events.
In 2018, ICAC inquired him about possible corruption. It was alleged he used political resources for personal businesses and sought payment over a property deal.
Maguire then resigned from Parliament and the Liberal party, as per ABC News.
