Does Barry Manilow Wear A Wig?

In the past, Barry Manilow had numerous distinct hairstyles. So, many people think his hair is fake and the musician wears a wig. But, it is not true.

The musician’s hair is natural, and he does not wear a wig. But saying that, he might have used a wig on several occasions for his privacy and to get the spotlight on him away from the public.

Such one incident unfolded in the news as Daily Mail reported that Manilow was seen in a woman’s long blonde wig, baseball cap, and dark glasses years back.

The musician did so to get away from the crowd in the clinic after finishing his plastic surgery. Surprisingly, though, his most recognizable and acclaimed feature—his nose—was overlooked during his facelift.

Barry Manilow Plastic Surgery: Did The Musician Undergo Plastic Surgery?

According to reports, the 57-year-old singer, Barry Manilow, underwent a full upper and lower facelift, which included removing sagging skin from the eyelids and general facial skin tightening.

Additionally, he departed the Beverly Hills clinic with what appeared to be a surgical wrap under his chin, showing that he was clearly uncomfortable with being recognized.

Barry seemed strange, remarked a bystander who watched him enter a neighboring hotel with an unidentified woman companion.

“He had a long blonde hairpiece on top, sunglasses, and a Super Bowl cap. It was quite a remarkable sight.

After breaking it in a strange accident at his California home in June, the singer has indicated he intends to undergo plastic surgery on his fabled nose later.

Manilow claimed he had been disoriented when he awoke in the middle of the night, walked against a wall in the dark, and knocked himself unconscious. He said, “I went left instead of right and hit the wall.”

He was informed that he would need plastic surgery after four hours of sleep to avert permanent face deformation.

He continued, “I might need to have my nose corrected, and with this nose, it’s going to take big surgery.”

Barry Manilow Relationship Timeline: Who Is The Musician Married To?

In 1978, Barry began dating TV executive and future manager Garry Kief. Following California’s same-sex marriage legalization, the couple married in 2014.

But until the marriage was made public in 2015, their relationship and Barry’s sexual orientation were kept a secret. He said he did not want the public to learn about his private relationship with Kief.

In April 2017, Barry came out publicly, telling People that he had kept it a secret out of fear of offending his predominantly female fan base.

However, Garry was the musician’s second partner. In 1964, Barry wed Susan Deixler, his high school love, for the first time.

Although he later claimed to be in love with his wife, he left her after just one year of marriage in search of a “wonderful musical adventure,” even if she was “the perfect wife” in his eyes. Deixler declared their divorce in 1966.
