Reigns just made his first appearance on WWE TV in March 2020. After sending a powerful message to Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt at SummerSlam, he will now contend for the Universal Championship at Payback.
The Universal Champion has been absent from WWE TV as he self-isolated due to the COVID-19 epidemic. But, it looks that the threat has passed, and Reigns may now return to the organization.
Meanwhile, The Boss rose through the ranks of NXT and undoubtedly met paths with Roman Reigns along the road. She has also supported Reigns against many of his detractors over the years, believing that they are jealous of his skill.
Sasha Banks stated that when the former Universal Champion was struck with Leukemia, he had taught her so much during her time on Monday Night RAW. And Reigns serves as a source of inspiration for everyone in the organization.
“Everyone found out with that promo, the whole world. No one backstage knew. I ran to the gorilla because I was like- Reigns is the strongest, most amazing man I’ve ever met. He’s taught me so much since I’ve been on RAW.
“To know he has been battling with this and didn’t tell a soul, and he is legit. He is a leader; he is everyone- everyone looks up to him.
There’s no bad word[s] that anybody can say about him because he is the hardest working person I’ve ever met, and I wish him all the best, and I know he’s going to overcome this.”
Sasha Banks and Roman Reigns are back on the SmackDown roster together. That implies there’s a potential these two WWE superstars may work together again soon, especially since both might go heel after WWE Payback.
