DM Pranks is an Italian YouTube channel created by YouTuber Matteo Moroni in 2013 when he began to play pranks, and post videos.
The YouTube channel is known for its “killer clown character” videos, in which they scare members of the public by running at them wielding hammers or chainsaws.
This channel currently has 4.88 million subscribers and more than 215 million video views.
Matteo Moroni was born in Castiglione del Lago, Italy on June 25, 1987, to his parents Rita Borja Velásquez and Guadalupe Fonsi Velásquez but moved to Magione where he was raised. He currently stands at 5 feet 7 inches tall.
Diego Dolciami who is one of the channel’s collaborators registered the “DM PRANKS” trademark which led to his arrest and sentence for copyright infringement and fraud.
DM Pranks received the first significant success in 2014 with the video titled “Killer Clown 3 – The Uncle! Scare Prank!” which had been viewed more than 105 million times in months.
