The DJ was one of the victims of the infamous Ramstein air show disaster back in the year 1988.
The crash occurred when three air crafts collided during an air show in Ramstein Air Base near Kaiserslautern, West Germany burning in a fireball. It left 70 fatalities and over 500 were injured.
Brejcha was severely burnt during the accident and had to spend months at the hospital for recovery, still today he carries marks of the crash in form of scars all over his body.
According to his Wikipedia Profile, speaking about the incident Boris says, “this was a special incident in my life. I was alone, I was a little boy and I was in an extreme situation.”
6. His Crash Fueled His Career
The pivotal moment in his career is the accident that left him in the hospital for months.
Despite Boris recovering and continuing with his life at the age of 6, his scars became the reason for all the bullying he received at his school according to his personal website.
The DJ then decided to withdraw from his social circle and found his interest was in music, marking the beginning of a golden era for electro music. His passion converted into his goal when one of his friends bought Thunderdome CD in middle school.
Brejcha then started exploring new ways in which he could make his own songs at the age of just 12 years old, he has succeeded so far with his endavor.
7. The German DJ Is On Tour Currently
Boris Brejcha is currently touring North America and Europe in September 2022.
He started his tour from Dallas, Texas in the United States of America on September 1 and will complete his tour in Munich, in his home country on September 30.
In between, Brejcha will perform in 9 locations in 8 countries. He performed in Chicago on September 2, then in Tulum in Mexico on September 3, and in Montreal, Canada on September 4.
