Two people were killed, and 8 were injured in a shooting attack in Tel Aviv’s center on Thursday night,
The attack occurred in several locations on Dizengoff Street, a famous scene in the central Israeli city filled with restaurants and bars.

Dizengoff Tel Aviv Israel street shooting has killed two people and injured at least six. The attack appears to be of a terrorist kind.
The gunman was believed to be still on the loose, and extensive security forces, including police and IDF soldiers, were running down Tel Aviv’s main boulevard in search of him.
The public is being asked to stay at home and stay off the streets until the gunman is apprehended.
According to Sourasky Medical Center, at least four injured are in severe or critical condition.
Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Defense Minister Benny Gantz were on their way to Tel Aviv’s Kirya Military headquarters, receiving regular updates on the attack.
The European Union’s ambassador to Israel, Dimiter Tzantchev, tweeted that he was “deeply concerned” by the Tel Aviv terror attack reports. “Our hearts go out to Dizengoff shooting victims and their loved ones. The EU supports Israel.”
The suspected attack was the latest in a string of deadly attacks in Beersheba, Hadera, and Bnei Brak that began last month.
Eleven Israelis have been killed as a result of the attacks so far.

The Dizengoff shooting death toll is likely to increase as there are people who were shot and remain in critical condition in hospital.
Meanwhile, the risk remains the same until the gunman is apprehended.
Inbar Choen writes on Twitter, “shooting attack in Dizengoff, the center of Tel Aviv: Two people were murdered, and numerous others were injured. At least 6 in critical condition. The terrorist fled the scene.”
Koby Brinn, a bartender at Spicehaus, said he witnessed the chaos outside the bar. “It was insane. I was at the bar with a view of the street when this massive wave of people was running in the street.”
In response to an increase in these terrorist attacks in Israel and gunfire targeting IDF troops in the West Bank, security forces were placed on high alert.
