Ice Cold Catch Discovery Show Filming Location

Ice Cold Catch was filmed in a country known for its cod fishing, Iceland. The Discovery+ and Discovery U.S. shined on Icelandic cod fishing.

The platform has made a lighthouse for all fishing-related shows and a concerned fish market for the show. The film was shot in Iceland because it is known for its cod fishing. Also, the cod linked Iceland as an export for about 1000 years to the rest of Europe. Even fishing for Atlantic cod pulls more cash.

The show followed the rookie greenhorns who pilot Icelandic longline boats and make earnings in freezing, treacherous waters. They passed through the three-week trial to impress their captains and crew members with their potential, attitude, and endurance.

The movie was shot in 2020. The filming teams and fishermen went above and beyond to deliver a remarkable series. They faced multiple lockdowns and challenges while shooting in Iceland.

However, they had a grip and revealed the beauty of fishing in Iceland. In the shot in cold temperatures, the lenses may have condensation in the situation and damage their equipment.

Caitlin shared a glimpse of her life in Iceland as an Icelandic longliner. Longline fishing is dangerous due to the weather conditions, and they need heavier gear to survive.

Even Krause invited her mother for a tour of the destination.
