Dimitrious Stanley Prostate Cancer Diagnosis
In September 2019, Stanley received a prostate cancer diagnosis; he passed away on February 9, 2023, at the age of 48.
A recent FDA-approved therapy, Stanley, 47, just finished his first treatment at James Cancer Hospital. The former Buckeye Football Fever co-host will need five more treatments, but the first’s success gives him hope. Stanley told ABC-6 on Sunday at a football camp at Ohio Dominican University, “I was down in a dark place, but now I’m life again.
Stanley met CJ Stroud, the quarterback for the Buckeyes and Heisman Trophy contender, at camp. This fraternity phenomenon is genuine, according to Stroud. “We should all exhibit love, regardless of the era we perform in.”
