Is a XXL the same as a 2X?
An XXL is generally the largest size in Misses clothing (very rarely do you see misses/straight sizes in a 20). An XXL fits like a 1X in my experience. An XXL is NOT the same as a 2X. As a result, I’ve finally entered into the larger of the Misses sizes and can wear both plus and straight sized clothes.
Is 2X larger than XXL?
1X, 2X, 3X are all in women’s PLUS sized sizing. So in this case 1X or 2X (being PLUS size garments for heavier set women) are going to be larger then an XL, XXL in regular misses sizes. Size 1X and size XL aren’t the same, and 2X and XXL aren’t either.
Is 2XL the same as XXL in men’s?
In Men’s clothing, 2XL is typically the larger of the two and indicates that clothing likely has more girth than an XXL. For women’s clothing, things get more complicated in general sizes, but it seems that XXL and 2XL are used more interchangeably.
