Difference between java and python

Java, however, is not recommended for beginners as it is a more complex program. Python is more forgiving as you can take shortcuts such as reusing an old variable. Additionally, many users find Python easier to read and understand than Java. At the same time, Java code can be written once and executed from anywhere.

Python programs are generally expected to run slower than Java programs, but they also take much less time to develop. Python programs are typically 3-5 times shorter than equivalent Java programs. Because of the run-time typing, Python’s run time must work harder than Java’s.

Java is good for Desktop apps, Embedded applications, Data processing apps, Mobile, and web apps and Enterprise-level solutions. Python is also used in web development or backend development using some popular frameworks such as Django, Tornado, Flask or CherryPy to use in web apps.

Python might be enough to get a job, but most jobs require a set of skills. For example, you might get a job to write Python code that connects to a MySQL database. To build a web application, you need Javascript, HTML, and CSS. If you want to get into machine learning, you need to know about mathematical modeling.

Python continues its rise on the list of popular programming languages in the world. According to TIOBE analysts, with this rate Python can overtake C and Java and become the most popular programming language.

Python will be the language of the future. Testers will have to upgrade their skills and learn these languages to tame the AI and ML tools. Python might not have bright years in the past years (which is mainly launch in the year 1991) but it has seen a continuous and amazing trend of growth in the 21st century.

No, Python is not dying. Numerous companies still use it. You, yourself, admit that it is a teaching language.

Not suitable for Mobile and Game Development

Python is mostly used in desktop and web server-side development. It is not considered ideal for mobile app development and game development due to the consumption of more memory and its slow processing speed while compared to other programming languages.

Even though Python has been billed to be strong in desktop and server platforms, it is weak on mobile platforms. Python developers often talk about the design restrictions in the language since the it is dynamically typed. This means it requires more testing and errors to turn up only during runtime.

Python Developer

Becoming a Python developer is the most direct job out there for someone who knows the Python programming language. A Python developer can be expected to: Build websites. Optimize data algorithms.

Let’ see some of the disadvantages of Python. Speed: Python is interpreted language and is slow as compared to C/C++ or Java. Unlike C or C++ it’s not closer to hardware because Python is a high-level language. Memory Consumption: For any memory intensive tasks Python is not a good choice.

First and foremost reason why Python is much popular because it is highly productive as compared to other programming languages like C++ and Java. Python is also very famous for its simple programming syntax, code readability and English-like commands that make coding in Python lot easier and efficient.
