Diddy’s Ex-Bodyguard Implies Mase Might Be Involved in Notorious B.I.G.’s Murder Wiki Biography

More than two decades after the murder of The Infamous B.I.G. a.k.a. Biggie, the matter was never settled. “Now, after Sean “P. Diddy” Combs’ ex-bodyguard Gene Deal’s talk with Mase, a new hypothesis might have developed.

Gene made a startling allegation in an episode of his YouTube show that Mase may have been involved in the murder of the hitmaker, ‘Mo Money Mo Problems.’ Then Mase called Gene on his YouTube broadcast, calling him a liar. The Florida-born star said that Gene used to be an upstanding guy, but now he’s lying for YouTube clicks and ratings.

That night, Gene, who was with Diddy the night that Biggie was shot and killed, questioned Mase about his supposed suspicious conduct. The 44-year-old rapper was questioned by the former bodyguard why he did not go to the party and chill with Biggie and Diddy, implying that Mase may know that there was going to be a firing, but he kept away from it.
Mase said that he was with R&B singer Brandy, whom he was dating at the time, in a hotel bed. Gene declined to believe him, stating that he had been informed earlier by Mase that Brandy wanted to go to the picnic, but it was Mase who did not want to go.

They went on moving back and forth until the phone was hanging up by Mase.
At the shooting on early March 9, 1997, the Infamous B.I.G. was riddled with numerous bullets. He was taken to the Cedars-Sinai Hospital Center, but at 1:15 a.m. he was declared dead. He was already 24 years old.

The gunman was never captured, and was identified as an African-American man wearing a blue suit and a bow tie. Retired LAPD detective Greg Kading claimed in 2006 that Wardell ‘Poochie’ Fouse, a friend of Suge Knight, who died on July 24, was fired by the rapper. Greg implied that Poochie was employed by Suge to destroy Biggie to avenge the death of Tupac Shakur, who, Greg figured, had been murdered under Diddy’s orders.
