Johnson continued to flourish as a senior, winning the all-around at the American Cup and the Visa U.S. National Championships in 2007. At the 2007 Pan American Games, she won four gold medals and one silver.
Johnson went on to represent the United States at the 2007 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, where she performed all four events and helped the team earn gold in the team finals.
She was also the fourth American woman to win the all-around gold medal. Johnson won gold in floor exercise but finished last on the balancing beam in the event finals.
