Did Olivia Newton-John Died Of Cancer?

Her earlier involvement with numerous humanitarian causes served as a precursor to Newton-activism John’s for health-related issues. In 1978, Newton-John postponed a concert tour through Japan in opposition to the killing of dolphins caught in tuna fishing nets.
When the Japanese government assured her that the practice was being stopped, she rescheduled the tour. The 1981 self-penned song “The Promise (The Dolphin Song),” which Rolling Stone called “one of the most gentle, emotional vocals of the singer’s career,” also reflects her concern for these “beautifully evolved creatures,” as she refers to them in the Warm and Tender liner notes.
