Detectives conducted a decades-long investigation until a family member discovered a vital piece of evidence that pointed to a suspect.
Exclusive TV interviews with sources connected to the case are featured in tonight’s show, including former New Jersey Detective Keith Hackett, Timmy’s cousin Jennifer Dilcher, Michelle Lodzinski’s sister Linda Hisley, and others.
The show will air four months after the state Supreme Court reversed Lodzinski’s conviction.
Who Killed Timothy Wiltsey Is Still a Mystery? Did Michelle Lodzinski Kill Her Son?
Timothy Wiltsey shared a house in South Amboy with his mother.
Lodzinski had reported her son missing after she said she had misplaced him at a fair over Memorial Day weekend. Authorities have searched for him, but we haven’t been able to find him. His head and bones were discovered in a creek after a year, in April 1992.
Lodzinski worked at the Raritan Center in Edison, where Wiltsey’s skeletons were discovered. However, there was no evidence of his mother’s DNA at the location. The state’s only substantial piece of evidence was the boy’s blanket, which was recovered alongside his body. However, this was insufficient evidence of her crime.

On the other hand, Wiltsey’s mother was on holiday in the Bahamas when he went missing. This demonstrated that she had no feelings about her son’s funeral or the situation in general. In reality, she continues to insist that she did not murder her son.
Another perplexing aspect of the case is that no evidence was discovered in their residence. According to his friends and neighbors, Wiltsey had never been molested by his mother or anything.
Even after 30 years of research, these variables have made the case extremely perplexing. Meanwhile, the death of an innocent little kid continues to cause concern among New Jersey residents.
Unfortunately, no one knows who or why Timothy Wiltsey was slain when he was five years old.
Who Is Michelle Lodzinski?
Michelle Lodzinski is the mother of Timothy Wiltsey, the man accused of murdering her son.
In 2016, she was convicted guilty of killing her son after a lengthy trial, decades after he vanished. However, the Supreme Court concluded that the evidence in the case did not support the jury’s decision.
