Why Was Lata Mangeshkar Never Married?
As per patrika.com, the great vocalist Lata Mangeshkar’s decision not to marry anyone in her life is due to two major factors.
The first is that she has always looked after her siblings. Lata never dreamed of taking time away from her responsibilities to her siblings, from ensuring their schooling to assisting them in achieving some level of security in their occupations.
Years went, decades went by, and just when she was about to embrace marriage as a part of her life, fate pulled all of the wrong strings to derail her plans.
According to the article, she and Raj Singh Dungarpur, a former athlete, would marry, but when the latter informed his parents about it, his father rejected the notion.
This explanation was that Lata was not a member of a royal household. As a result, Maharawal could not allow his son to marry an ordinary woman.
