Kellie Pickler discusses the specifics of her frequently traumatic personal life with her fans and detractors perhaps more than any other country musician.
Did Kelly Pickler ever find her mom?
Pickler hardly speaks to her mother and has not bothered to seek her. Her mother was given custody in March 1995, while Bo Pickler was serving time for an armed robbery. Pickler attended grade four. Pickler said the following in an interview with the Charlotte Observer in February 2006: “I was placed in her care for two years.
She mistreated me at that time in both physical and mental ways.” Pickler’s grandparents claimed in a court document from 1997 that her mother had moved to Union County with her and had been abusive to her. The grandparents’ custody was granted back by the court. Pickler hasn’t spoken to her mum in a while since she disappeared once more.
North Stanly High School in New London, North Carolina, awarded Pickler a diploma in 2004. She was both a beauty queen and a cheerleader. For her high school graduation, she performed LeAnn Rimes’ “On the Side of Angels.”
Why did Kellie Pickler’s mom abandon her?
The day after Pickler turned two, her parents divorced; a year later, in July 1989, her mother disappeared. She used to reside with her grandparents outside of Albemarle, which is located 45 miles (72 km) northeast of Charlotte, when her father, Bo, was incarcerated. Pickler’s mother moved back to Albemarle in 1992, but they hardly ever spoke.
