Holly Wells was a British murder victim from Soham, Cambridgeshire. She lost her life at the hands of Ian Kevin Huntley when she was 10 years old.
Wells and her friend, Jessica Chapman was out to purchase a sweet from a nearby vending machine. When they were returning home, they were lured into the local resident, Ian Kevin Huntley’s home.
Kevin killed the girls (likely by asphyxiation) and dumped their bodies in RAF Lakenheath’s irrigation ditch. The remains of the girls were found 13 days later.

Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman went out to buy a sweet from a vending machine in Soham on 4 August 2002.
While returning, they were lured by the school’s caretaker, Ian Kevin Huntley. He told them that their teaching assistant, Maxine Ann Carr (his girlfriend) was waiting for them.
When the girls went to his house, they did not find Maxine but they saw the horrific nature of Ian. He killed Holly and Jessica on the same day and disposed of their body in the irrigation ditch at RFA Lakenheath.
As per Wikipedia, the girl’s family filed a complaint on the same day and the police started searching for them. Their bodies were discovered on 17 August, 13 days later.
Their family and friends were devastated by their untimely demise.
Who Killed Holly Wells And Where Is He Now?
Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman were killed by Ian Kevin Huntley at his rented home.
When the deceased body of the girls was found, Ian and Carr were immediately arrested. Likewise, they were charged for abduction as well as murder.
On 17 December of 2003, Kevin was found guilty and he was handed a sentence of life imprisonment. As of now, he is detained at the HMP Frankland Prison in County Durham.
Ian’s then-girlfriend, Carr was also sentenced to 3.5 years in prison on charges of preventing the court of justice.
