Did Daunte Wright Shot Someone?
Daunte Wright is confirmed to have shot someone before his death led by a gunshot.
Daily Mail UK reports that he was involved in the shooting of two of his school friends.
Daunte Wright choked and robbed a woman at gunpoint. Before that
he shot a kid in the head at a gas station. All of the idiots pretending to mourn his death would not have wanted to be alone in a room with him.— Matt Walsh (@MattWalshBlog) December 23, 2021
Wright shot Caleb Livingston in the frontal part of his head and left him to die at a Minneapolis gas station in May 2019.
Caleb now suffers from a traumatic brain injury, respiratory arrest, and is permanently disabled.
Moreover, he is bound to a wheelchair, lost his speaking ability, and requires 24/7 care.
Not only the shooting cases, but the late Wright also shares several brushes with the law including firearm offenses, burglary, and assault.
However, his violent way of life is less talked about in the media, complained by Jennifer LeMay, Caleb’s mother.
She also revealed that Potter’s recent sentencing proves justice but not for Wright who was never put to the real justice for the crimes that he committed.
Daunte Wright Warrant & Weapons Charge – Why Was He Being Arrested?
Daunte Wright had an open warrant for his arrest related to many charges at the time of his death.
He was being pursued by the police for the charges of aggravated armed robbery, for failure to appear in court.
IN addition to those, he had also fled from officers and possessed a gun without a permit during an encounter with Minneapolis police in June.
On the unfateful day of April 11, Potter and her police group had noticed Wright breaking many rules.
Those traffic rules including signaling right when Wright’s car took a left turn.
Wright was also using a car that had an expired registration tag on the license plate and had an air freshener hanging from the car’s rearview mirror, a violation of Minnesota state law.
After the police group stopped the car and found that Wright had an open warrant, the group and Wright were involved in an altercation.
In the middle of the fight, Potter alleges that she mistook her gun for a taser and shot Wright in the chest.
While the majority are happy with Potter’s sentencing, the other half are still concerned about Wright’s criminal records.
