Did Christine Anu Underwent Plastic Surgery?
The answer is: No!
On the contrary to what many of you might have believed, Christine Anu did not undergo any kind of plastic surgery. However, she did have surgery a few years ago to fix the hernia that she had been suffering from for quite a while.
After having constant heartburn and chest pains, the singer underwent an operation in 2016 to fix the hernia. The operation also led her to shed a few kilos, which kick-started her weight loss journey.
Christine Anu’s Weight Loss Transformation
Christine Anu had lost 46 kilograms in 2017, surprising and encouraging everyone who was on the path of weight loss transformation.
At the time, she weighed 106 kilograms, which was her heaviest, as revealed by Christine herself in an interview. She was going through a mental dilemma as a result of her divorce from her husband, Simon Deutrom, with whom she had been married for six years. The pair were also childhood sweethearts.
Because of the emotional turmoil, she was going through, Christine expressed that she was constantly eating away her emotions, thus, resulting in the massive weight gain.
After receiving a warning from her doctor about her high blood pressure, Christine began dieting, meditating, dancing, walking, and yoga to shed pounds and create the figure that she has today.
Christine further explained that her transformation not only made her feel better about her body but it also made her feel better about herself in general like she had control over herself.

Christine Anu married her childhood sweetheart, Simon Deutrom, in 2010. However, the couple separated in June 2016 after six years of marriage.
Christine is also a mother of two children, a son Kuiam and a daughter, Zipporah, born in 1996 and 2002 respectively. She shared her childhood with her ex-partner, Rodger Corser, an actor.
