Obviously, Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp were once more than mere friends. It was reported that the two performers, who played on-screen lovers in “The Tourist”, were romantically entangled in the past, in the light of the latter’s pending defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Learned.
It’s uncertain when Jolie and Depp were meant to be romantic behind the scenes, but they were shooting the thriller directed by Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck in 2010. She was also in a relationship with her then long-standing boyfriend Brad Pitt at the time, while Depp was in a long-standing relationship with Vanessa Paradis from 1998 before their 2012 breakup was confirmed.
At the moment, though, there was no suggestion of a romantic partnership between Jolie and Depp, when it was claimed that the 45-year-old beauty found it tough to collaborate with her co-star at times. Nevertheless, with Jolie admitting to have had a crush on Depp in “Edward Scissorhands” they sung praise for each other and he portrayed her as “a walking poem.”
In legal filings, Depp’s purported intimate involvement with Jolie is not the only item uncovered. The 57-year-old actor reportedly even became intimate with Marion Cotillard and Keira Knightley, according to The Hollywood Reporter, and reported by Vulture.
In the 2009 “Public Enemies” Depp and Cotillard appeared, while he and Knightley were co-stars of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” film series. As part of his court dispute with Heard, with his former intimate relationships, including Jolie, Cotillard and Knightley, Depp is forced to give over “all responsive communications”.
In July, Depp objected to the presence of former intimate relationships in the event, saying it would be “irrelevant, immaterial, or unnecessary.” to records pertaining to them. He believed that the appeal was “intended to harass” him.
In his libel lawsuit against the British newspaper The Sun, which incriminated the star, Ellen Barkin, who was dating Depp in 1994, had previously given a deposition.
