Desmond Elliot is a Nigerian actor and a politician who hails from the Lagos state. Desmond was born on February 4, 1974. Desmond Elliot is a member of Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Surulere Constituency.
Desmond Elliot is an economist. He had his bachelor of degree in Economy at the Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos (LASU) in 2003. Desmond Elliot is married to director and banker Victoria Elliot, Who have been blessed with two sets of twins.
Desmond Elliot’s Political Career
Desmond Elliot before joining politics made his intentions known to his fans in the year 2014. Fast forward, he was approved by the All Progressive Congress to contest on their ticket. Desmond Elliot emerged the winner to represent Surulere Constituency, House of Assembly, Lagos on 11th of April, 2015. He contested in 2016 again and he was again voted into power.

Desmond Elliot representing the Surulere Constituency, House of Assembly, put out his projects to serve the people. Among his outlined project was a bridge to aid in easy movement. He reconstructed the old Shitta-Oke Odo link bridge.
His project became an object of mockery. This is because the reconstructed bridge was seen as cheap and weak which could easily be destroyed. Desmond Elliot faced the backlash of social media users.
Desmond Elliot was lambasted for not being able to construct a proper bridge for the people in his constituency. This ensued after he spoke about Nigerians being well regulated on social media.
