Dennis Yadiel Sanchez, the singer’s nephew, has accused him of incest and domestic abuse, and Ricky Martin’s lawyer is rejecting the claims.
Martin, 50, was issued a restraining order earlier this month following an incident in Puerto Rico, although the accuser’s identity was first hidden.
The accused was identified as Martin’s nephew, age 21, by his brother, Eric Martin, according to the Spanish news website Marca.

The 21-year-old son of Vanessa Martin, the sister of the Latin pop icon, is Dennis Yadiel Sanchez.
Sanchez recently named Martin, his uncle, as the one who allegedly attacked him.
On July 1, Sanchez requested a restraining order against the singer in accordance with the domestic violence law of Puerto Rico.
Martin and Sanchez broke up two months ago after dating for seven months, according to the order, which was examined by El Vocero, a Puerto Rican newspaper, The Latin Post said.
Sanchez allegedly said in the order, which a Puerto Rican publication, El Vocero, reviewed, that Martin refused to accept the separation and had been observed lingering close to his home at least three times.
Martin claims that he was also charged with “drinking excessive amounts of booze and narcotics.”
The singer’s legal team has refuted the accusations, and they are getting ready to counterattack Sanchez.
