Denise Russo, a popular reality TV star renowned for her work on the VH1 series “The X-life,” has passed away at the age of 44 for unidentified reasons.
Police in San Diego, according to TMZ, said they discovered the actress unconscious on the floor of her friend’s house on Sunday.
Shortly after rescue responders unsuccessfully attempted to revive Russo, she was pronounced dead.
Although her cause of death is yet uncertain, authorities appear to have found drug paraphernalia.
Russo’s friend and former “The X-life” cast member Susie Stenberg told the publication that Russo was living in her car at the time of her death and had contacted Stenberg the night before to tell her she loved her.
Stentberg called Denise “the most loving and faithful person.”
The San Diego Police claims that the investigation into Russo’s passing is still ongoing.
Other than the fact that she was a member of one of the three couples on “The X-Life,” a 2011 VH1 reality series that tracked the lives of extreme sports contestants and their spouses, not much is known about the celebrity.
While the episode was broadcast, Russo was married to professional skateboarder Pierre-Luc Gagnon; however, the couple allegedly split up before her death.
On Instagram, Russo routinely posted stunning images of herself; her last post was published a few days before she went unexpectedly.
