The popular anime series Demon Slayer is returning for a third season. The action centers on Tanjiro asking Hotaru Haganezuka to help him fix his damaged sword.
He, his sister Nezuko, and his companions Inosuke and Zenitsu are in danger from new demons while his sword is being restored, but his enemies are never far behind. Two new antagonists from this season, Upper Moon demons named Hantengu and Gyokko, are introduced.
Love and Mist, two new Hashiras, will be joining the cast, and a brand-new theme song has been written for the upcoming season. They perform with their distinctive swordplay and breath control.
The Swordsmith Village Arc picks up where the story left off, with Tanjiro looking for an old weapon while his sword is being repaired. The first episode of the season will be included in a one-hour special that will air on Fuji TV in Japan on April 9 at 11:15 p.m. JST.
The series will be available for online viewing on Crunchyroll beginning on April 9 in the US and 200 other countries. The first episode will be broadcast simultaneously on Crunchyroll with subtitles in a variety of languages, including Hindi, English, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, German, and Italian.
Only Crunchyroll will provide access to new episodes in North America, Central America, South America, and Europe.
