Deion Jones Parents: Meet Tahonas Jones And Cal Jones
Deion Jones was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, the United States to his parents Tahonas Jones and Cal Jones. Jones’ nickname “Debo” was given to him by his father and is a portmanteau of Deion Sanders and Bo Jackson.
Cal and Tahonas Jones call their Algiers residence “the family home.” It’s where the immediate and extended family often congregates, as was the case for a pre-Super Bowl 51 party Tuesday night.
Deion’s parents thought he had the potential to make it to the NFL and its biggest stage, but they also stressed the importance of diligent work on and off the field.
