She gained fame for her first music single titled, Koala which was released in 2016.

Early Life
Dee Koala was born on the 11th day of March in 1998. She was born an raised in Khayelitsha town located in Cape Town, South Africa.
She developed a deep passion and love for poetry in secondary school. According to her, her elder brother and her friends who also loved rapping was her influence.
She claims she had a lot of friends who were interested in rapping.

Dee Koala attended a Muslim school and she was an student of Arts department. As a student, she wrote rap verses for her friends.
Career
Dee Koala started recording and making songs in 2016. She was motivated by her friends especially those whom she wrote for to record songs in a studio.
Her career officially started with this single step. She released her first music track in the same year titled, Koala. She released her first rap album in 2019 titled, 4 the Khaltsha which included the following songs; Nkqo Nkqo, Ndanele, Msoon’wakho, Akhowey, Thando and several others.

She is the ambassador of the popular sports brand Adidas Originals. She gained this post as a result of her national fame as a rapper.
