However, his relationship with Lesley did not last long. They began dating in December 2017 and broke in April 2018. Unglert indirectly hinted their split through his Instagram post on 7 April 2018 captioning his opinion towards love. The two have not addressed the real cause of their split.
He had previously made an on-screen romance as a suitor of Rachel Lindsay in The Bachelorette.

Dean Unglert Parents | Father
Unglert is the son of Paramroop and late Debra. His mother Debra died from breast cancer in 2006. He and his father were estranged for years but they finally reunited during his hometown date with Rachel for The Bachelorette Season 13.
In the show, Unglert confronted his father for being distant after the death of his mother. During that time, he was only 15 years old.
He stated that his father and family fell apart after his mother’s death.
