Dawn Whitham, a renounced bodybuilder, passed away after a fight with cancer.
According to a message on her Facebook page, the 57-year-old former powerlifting champion passed suddenly on February 14.
Although the cause of death has not been disclosed, the celebrity fought a stage 4 brain tumor for months.
Whitham, a Connecticut native, routinely posted updates about her illness-related struggles on social media.
She disclosed in November that she was receiving care at a cancer hospital in New Haven. She stated that she was “kicking butt [and] keeping optimistic” at the time.
Whitham admitted that she had gained weight and was getting ready to “attack” her home gym.
