The Brooklyn Half marathon has been in the headlines as the 32-year-old runner, David collapsed after finishing the line of the Marathon. H has been declared dead. After he collapsed, he was taken to a nearby Coney Island hospital for a cure.
He was pronounced dead by the NYPD, and the reason for his death has been believed to be cardiac arrest. But the medical examiner will determine the cause of his death.

The runners had to run from the Brooklyn Museum through Prospect Park to the Coney Island boardwalk. The race day was unseasonably hot and humid.
According to Fox weather, it was said that the temperature at Coney Island at 9 am was 70 degrees and had 83% humidity which had affected a lot of runners. Similarly, according to the New York Fire Department, due to scorching heat during the marathon, 16 people were taken to the hospital.
Among the 16 people, five were in grave condition, eight had non-life-threatening injuries, and four had minor injuries.
