According to The Sun, the husband of Downton Abbey actress Lesley Nicol, David Heald, has died.

“Da’arboth was an excellent, unique, and inspirational man who was always her warrior at Lesley’s side.
Lesley appeared in the 2019 and 2022 feature adaptations of the ITV historical drama series as cook Beryl Patmore.
“Lesley is heartbroken, of course,” a friend close to the star was quoted as saying in the Mirror. They worked well together as a couple.
