Malu Abeni Valentine Byrne is the daughter of Musician and filmmaker David Byrne.
Valentine was born in 1989 to David Byrne and his ex-wife Adelle Lutz.
In a 2016 interview with Elle, Valentin spoke about one of her middle names, Abeni which she explained that “It is Nigerian, and it means ‘We asked for her and she came to us.’ My parents had a hard time having kids, and when I finally came along, their good friend offered up that name”.

He was a founding member, principal songwriter, lead singer, and guitarist of the American new wave band Talking Heads.
David Byrne was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002 as a member of the Talking Heads.
In 2005, Byrne launched his internet radio station, Radio David Byrne.
David Byrne has received several awards including an Academy Award, a Grammy Award, a Tony Award, and a Golden Globe Award.
