SLED is already looking into several other criminal cases involving Murdaugh or his family, including the unsolved homicides of his wife, Maggie, and son, Paul, on June 7.

Gloria Satterfield’s son has been fighting against the South Carolina legal scion Alex Murdaugh for liability insurance.
Murdaugh, 53, told her sons that after suing himself, he would pay them $500,000 and referred them to his college roommate, lawyer Cory Fleming.
Lawyers claim that the adult children never received a penny of the multi-million dollar settlement.
According to Satterfield’s lawyer, Eric Bland, Fleming agreed to pay back all fees and expenses his firm received from the $4.3 million recovered from the suit.
Satterfield’s children only found out about the settlement when reporters began investigating Murdaugh’s son Paul’s arrest for a fatal drunk boating accident in 2019.
As of now, the children of Gloria have recovered the $4.3 million from Alex Murdaugh.
Although there are no new reports about Gloria’s children, as they are now been part of the investigation that is undergoing.
